Edward Leroy Albrecht, Jr., 84
Edward Leroy (June) Albrecht, 84, of West Portsmouth passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Edward was born September 28, 1922 in West Portsmouth to the late Edward Leroy and Laura Bell Holback Albrecht. He was a retired Truck Driver, a member of the Teamsters Union and the Moose Lodge.
Edward is survived by a son, William Albrecht of Portsmouth and three sisters Bernice Albrecht and Ruth Cooper both of West Portsmouth and Catherine Matthews of Rio Grande. June is also survived by severel nieces and nephews including a very special niece, Holly Cooper of West Portsmouth. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Bill Albrecht; and one sister, Pauline Price.
Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Friday, January 5, 2007 at Scioto Burial Park with David Sibole officiating. Interment will follow the service. Arrangements by the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
