Ella Christeen (Chris) Swords

Ella Christeen (Chris) Swords passed away at BeeHive Homes of Edgewood, NM on August 3, 2017 at the age of 97. Chris is predeceased by husband Virgil Vernon (Buck) and sisters Krilla and Jessie. She is lovingly remembered by sons Daniel and Dennis, granddaughter Kelly and sister Wilma Jean.

Chris was born in Duke, OH on April 13, 1920. She was married to "Buck" Swords from June 1943 until his death in June of 2006. She was active in Methodist Church activities for most of her life, also enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking and crafts.

Chris will be cremated and ultimately laid to rest next to her loving husband in Friendship Cemetery, Ohio. In lieu of flowers and with consideration that Chris was in assisted living in her adopted State, suggest that if you want to make a memorial donation that you give to your favorite cause in her memory.
