Ellen Louise Thompson, 91
Ellen Louise "Granny" Thompson, 91 of West Portsmouth, died Saturday April 2, 2011 at Hillview Health Care Center. She was born October 23, 1919 in Portsmouth to the late James and Charlotte Houch Kitchen. She attended Bible Chapel Church and was a loving mother and grandmother. Along with her parents Louise was preceded in death by her husband Issac Wilson Thompson who she married on September 24, 1938 in Portsmouth, 2 sons; James (Dean) Thompson and Robert Thompson a sister Bernice Cassidy and brothers; Goble, Ed and Cleo Kitchen.
Louise is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Ron and Patty Thompson of West Portsmouth, a brother Ora Ktchen of West Portsmouth, 11 Grandchildren along with several great and great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday April 5, 2011 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with ministers; Dean and Danny Thompson officiating. Interment will be in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8:00 PM on Monday and 1 hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
