Estel Elberta Bowles, 82
Estel Elberta Bowles 82, a former West Portsmouth resident died Thursday, January 06, 2005, at Heartland of Portsmouth. Estel was born August 3, 1922 in Portsmouth to the late William M. and Audrey Stratton Setters. She retired from U S Laundry and was a member of Victory Baptist Church.
Estel was preceded in death by her husband Richard Bowles. She is survived by three daughters, Barbara Jo (Bob) Morfitt of Lake Wells, FL; Patricia Sue (Kenny) Holsinger of West Portsmouth, Carman Rayburn of West Portsmouth; two sisters, Virginia Stepp of Portsmouth and Betty Foster of West Portsmouth, grandchildren, Kimberly Hamilton, Todd Hamilton, J.R. and Lori Holsinger, Rich & Kelly Holsinger, Barbara & Ryan Guilfoyle, Kevin and Andrea Zaph, Craig and Dawn Rayburn. and 11 great grandchildren and a special niece Marion Newman. She was preceded in death by two brothers, William and James Setters, and two sisters, Eleanor Setters and Christine Sowards.
Funeral services will be held 1 P.M. Monday, January 10, 2005 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Pastor Robert Temple officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. on Monday. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
