Eula Mae Montgomery, 76

Eula Mae Montgomery, 76 of Lucasville, died Sunday September 8, 2013 at the home of her daughter in Newark, Ohio. She was born June 9, 1937 in Gallia County, Ohio to the late Franklin Pierce and Jimsy Marie Conley Tackett. She was a former cook for Licking Valley Schools and was a member of Big Run United Baptist Church. Along with her parents Eula was preceded in death by 2 sons; McClellon "Mac" Montgomery and Rufus Montgomery.

Eula is survived by her husband Monroe A. Montgomery who she married on June 20, 1952 in Portsmouth, 6 sons; Marvin, Oakie, Charles, Keith, Kevin and Dustin Montgomery, a daughter Monica Montgomery, 28 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 2 brothers; James David and Rufus Tackett, 3 sisters; Betty Faye Phipps, Laura Johnson and Judith Ann Phipps.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday September 12, 2013 at Big Run United Baptist Church with Arvil "Jr" Murray, Johnny Mollett and Claude Mollett officiating with Marvin Carver leading prayer. Interment will be in Big Run Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday starting at 10:00 am until the funeral hour on Thursday. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W.
