Everett E. Swords, 67
Everett E. Swords, 67 of Racine passed away Monday July 18, 2011 at his home. He was born November 22, 1943 in Portsmouth to the late Harry Ernest Swords and Delilah Jane Ratcliff.
Everett is survived by his wife of 31 years Sharon Richards Swords who he married July 26, 1979 in Elyria OH, 3 sons; Everett Dale Swords of Leon WV, Christopher Brandal of Sandusky, and Joseph Brandal of Racine, 2 daughters; Rosanne Nelson and Anna Criner both of Lorain, 3 brothers; Carl and Donald Swords of Houston TX, James Swords of GA, 3 sisters; Ada Wear, Virginia Moore and Cathy Pinex all of Portsmouth, 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Thursday July 21, 2011 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Anthony Hoffer officiating with interment to follow on Saturday in Worley's Run Cemetery.
