Flora Ruth Sparks, 85

Flora Ruth Sparks, 85 of Otway died Monday, July 6, 2020 at her home.  She was born October 18, 1934 to the late Taylor and Bertha Endicott Frazier.  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Sparks whom she married February 18, 1950, a son, Charles "Bubby" Sparks, 3 brothers; Richard "Dick" Frazier, William "Bunk" Frazier, and Roy Frazier, and 3 sisters; Virginia Crabtree, Mary Davis, and Ethel Frazier.

She was a cook for Northwest School District for many years and later became a homemaker.  She loved her family and was proud of each and every one of them.  She will be missed dearly.

Flo is survived by a son, John Sparks, 4 daughters; Claudia Carney, Peggy (Richard) Warner, Ruth (Randy) Hettinger, and Marjorie (Roger Kennedy) Sparks, 13 grandchildren; Mike (Rhonda) Carney, PJ Carney, Rodney Warner, Amy Warner, Tommy Montavon, Ryan (Lorie) Montavon, Russell Hettinger, Charlie Hettinger, Chassie (Donny) Wireman, Charles (Rachelle) Sparks, Billy Kingrey, Craig Kingrey, and Bobby (Emily) Kingrey, 22 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, a brother, Taylor "Junior" (Mary) Frazier, along with several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Monday, July 13, 2020 at Rushtown Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth.  Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
