Flora M. Stewart, 88

Flora M. Stewart, 88 of Portsmouth a former Rome, GA resident died Tuesday, July 6, 2004 at Southern Ohio Medical Center.  Flora was born March 2, 1916 in DeKalb County, Alabama to the late Henry T. and Ruthie J. Miller.  She was a member of  the Cathedral of Praise Church of God in Adairsville, GA. and was an employee of the City of  Rome,GA until her retirement.

Flora is survived by her husband, Leuomon Stewart whom she married July 26, 1946 in Rome, GA.  She is also survived by one son and his wife,  Dr. Kendall (Fay) Stewart of Portsmouth; two grandsons, Jonathan Stewart of Gahanna, OH and Timothy Stewart of Portsmouth, OH; and one brother, Mitch Miller of Milledgeville, GA.

Friends may call at  The Cathedral of Praise Church of God in Adairsville  GA from 10 to 11 A.M. on Saturday, July 10, 2004.  At 11 A.M. a funeral service will be held with Ron Carver officiating.  Interment will follow  at Eastview Cemetery in Rome, GA.  Memorial contributions may be made to The Cathedral of Praise Church of God, 5415 Calhoun Rd.
