Floyd Horton Greene, 78

Floyd Horton Greene, 78 of West Portsmouth, died Tuesday November 10, 2015 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born March 3, 1937 in Elliott County Kentucky to thee late John and Clara Whisman Hodge. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was also a member of the James Dickey Post 23 American Legion. Floyd was a drywaller by trade. Along with his parents Floyd was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Fannin Greene who he married on August 27, 1960, 2 stepbrothers; Rufford and Bill Hodge.

Floyd is survived by a daughter Rebecca and Bobby Evans of Stout, 3 grandchildren; Gracie, Tyler and Lindsey Evans, a sister Joyce (Bud) Cooper of Portsmouth and a stepbrother Kenneth (Linda) Hodge of West Portsmouth.

Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Saturday November 14, 2015 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Randy Schintzius officiating. Interment will be in McKendree Cemetery with graveside military rites by the James Dickey Post 23 American Legion. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday starting at 10:30 AM.
