Floyd Logan, 86

Floyd Logan, 86 of West Portsmouth, died Monday August 19, 2013 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born October 30, 1926 in Carter County, Kentucky to the late Tobias B. and Martha Alice Rayburn Logan. He worked for 32 years at Harbison Walker and then worked at Washington Local School District. He was a Army National Guard veteran, member of Dry Run Church of Christ and the Scioto Antique Motor Club. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Gaythiel Horsley Logan, second wife Joyce Kiser Logan, 4 brothers; Carl, Lee, Jack and Bert Logan and a sister Edith Bryant.

Floyd is survived by his wife Eileen McNeal Logan, a son Thomas (Phyllis) Logan of South Shore, KY., a daughter Tammy R. (Ralph Imes) of West Portsmouth, 2 brothers; his twin Lloyd Logan of South Shore and Enoch Logan of Danvers, MA., a sister Myrtle Murray of Paris, KY, Stepson; Scott (Pam) McNeal, 3 grandchildren; Keri (Korey) Alexander, , Dustin (Kim) Logan and Jesse Logan,a great grandson  Hunter Alexander and 2 step grandchildren; Jack and Scott McNeal.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday August 22, 2013 at Dry Run Church of Christ in West Portsmouth with Mark Seevers officiating. Interment will be in Scioto Burial Park with military graveside rites by James Dickey Post #23 American Legion. Friends may call at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth from 5 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday and at the church 1 hour prior to the service. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
