Frank C. Peters, 85

Frank C. Peters, 85 of West Portsmouth, died Friday, February 13, 2026 at SOMC Hospice. He was born May 1, 1940 in Sciotoville to the late Roscoe and Ruth Stewart Peters.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by sister, Nancy Peters Hickman, an infant son Patrick and his life-long friend, Dick Cook.

Frank was a United States Marine Corp veteran serving from 1959 to 1967. He worked for ODNR for several years and retired from SOCF in 2001 after 37 years. Frank was a loving father and even better a loving PaPaw.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Michal Paul Peters whom he married on January 29, 1961, a daughter, Stephanie (Brent) Potts, a son Jeff (Amy) Peters, grandchildren; Nick Potts, Kyle Potts, Megan (Wes) Farmer, Maddie Potts (Robert DAmico), Kendall Peters, Derek (Destiny) Peters, Carson Peters, step granddaughters; Cierra Loop and Tia (Georges) Aoun, 3 great grandsons; Carter, Hudson and Archie Peters, nephews; Tim (Carolyn) Paul, Nate (Brandi) Paul, John (Tracy) Paul and three nieces.
