Fredrick Watson Weghorst 77
Fredrick Watson Weghorst, 77 of Mackletree Road, Blue Creek, Ohio died Wednesday March 7, 2007 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. Fredrick was born March 22, 1929 to the late Illie and Lucy Hayslip Weghorst. He was preceded in death by his wife Violet Williams Weghorst; two brothers, Glenn and Leon Weghorst; one sister, Doris Riffe. Fredrick worked on the Ohio River barges as a deck hand and attended Blue Creek Church for many years.
Fredrick is survived by three sons, Larry, Illie, and Marion Weghorst; two daughters, Darlene Kay DiBene and Sharon Weghorst; two sisters, Myrtle Gifford and Thelma Kersey; 14 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 1pm Saturday, March 10, 2007 at Blue Creek Church in Blue Creek with Greg Cooper and Luke Hurst officiating and internment in Tick Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home from 6-8pm on Friday and one hour prior to the service at the church. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
