Gary Wayne Adams Sr., 71

Gary Wayne Adams Sr., 71 of Portsmouth, died Monday January 1, 2024 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born March 31, 1952 in Ashland, Kentucky to the late William Estill and Esther May Hill Adams.

Gary was a mechanic for over 40 years.

Along with his parents, Gary was preceded in death by a daughter, Christine Sue Adams, 3 brothers; William, Earl and Roger Adams and 3 sisters; Patricia Louise Adams Monk, Sharon Kay Hatfield Banuelos, Tammy Adams and Sylvia Black.

Gary is survived by his wife Anita Kay Keibler Adams, 4 sons; Gary Wayne Adams Jr., Michael Paul Adams, Clarence Lee Adams and Anthony Joseph Adams, 3 brothers; David, Charles and John Adams, 2 sisters; Shirley Adams Collett and Pam Adams, sister in law Thelma Adams, 2 stepchildren; Jerrod Wheeler and Crystal Wheeler, 6 grandchildren; Savannah Adams, Cortney Adams, Faith Adams, Alexandria Adams, Christina Adams and Nathaniel Adams along with 4 great grandchildren; Anastasia Hamilton, Zachary Hale, Corbin Hale and Ashton Adams on the way.

Funeral services will be 8:00 PM Friday, January 5, 2024 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Pastor Gary Newman officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday starting at 6:00 PM. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
