Gary Richard Hodge, 65

Gary Richard Hodge, 65 of Columbus, died Saturday May 23, 2015 at his home. He was born March 3, 1950 in Portsmouth to the late Raymond and Blanche Belle Hodge. He was retired from Sygma Foods with over 20 years of service. He was a United States Army Vietnam War veteran and was a member of the 101st Airborne Division. Along with his parents Gary was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Donald and Kenneth Hodge.

Gary is survived by a sister Phyllis K. (Don) Buckler of Columbus, 3 brothers; Raymond E. (Sharon) Hodge of South Portsmouth, KY., Robert A. (Emogene) Hodge of Columbus and Michael D.  (Reba) Hodge of McDermott, sister in law Joyce Hodge of Warsaw, OH,  along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday May 28, 2015 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth. Interment will be in McKendree Cemetery with graveside military rites by the James Dickey Post 23 American Legion. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday starting at Noon.
