Gary Richard Shaw Sr., 77

Gary Richard Shaw Sr., 77 of West Portsmouth, died Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at SOMC Hospice. He was born September 21, 1943 in Portsmouth to the late Harl and Thelma Vaughn Shaw.

Gary was a member of the Nauvoo Masonic Lodge #769. He was a avid Mechanic and lived to work on cars. When he wasn't working on them he was talking about them.

Along with his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his wife Connie Shaw, a daughter Gina Ann Shaw, 6 brothers, William Combs, David Stout, William (Ed) Shaw, Harlin Shaw, and Michael Shaw, Samuel Shaw, and a sister Thelma Flagg.

Gary is Survived by his daughter LaTisha Hedge, a Son Gary Shaw II, a brother Jack Shaw and a Sister Rosa Robbins, 4 grandchildren, Gary Shaw III, Rheena Shaw, Ricky Shaw, Trista Shaw. As well as 2 great grandchildren, Kamryn Hedge and Dakota Shaw-Meade.
