Gary W. Stamper, 64

Gary W. Stamper, 64 of West Portsmouth, died Wednesday April 16, 2014 at his home. He was born November 14, 1949 in Richmond, Kentucky to the late Everett and Eslie Fulilove Stamper. He was a Pipefitter and retired after 41 years. He was a member of Pipefitters Local # 577. He was also a United States Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War. Gary is survived by his wife Sharon Blevins Stamper who he married on May 3, 1969, 2 sons; Timothy G. (Amanda) Stamper of Brooksville, KY. And Joshua E. (Lisa) Stamper of West Portsmouth, a daughter Danielle (Matt Estep) Stamper of West Portsmouth, 6 grandchildren; Garett Stamper, Joshua W. Stamper, Jordan Stamper, Andrew Stamper, Kaitlin Stamper and Keri Stamper. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday April 18, 2014 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Vincent Kennedy officiating. Interment will be in Scioto Burial Park with military graveside rites by the James Dickey Post 23 American Legion.
