Georgene Perdue, 54

Georgene Perdue, 54 of West Portsmouth died Monday, February 5, 2007 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was born March 25, 1952 in Portsmouth to the late Harvey Estil and Julia Litteral Mosley. Georgene was operator of HEM Ltd. and a member of the Bible Chapel Church in West Portsmouth. Georgene was loved by many, was kind and giving, treated strangers as friends and friends as family.

Georgene is survived by her husband, Marvin Wayne Perdue, Sr.; one son, Marvin Wayne "PJ" Perdue, Jr. of West Portsmouth; three daughters, Kathy Perdue, Debby "Jake" Howard, and Heather "Gary" Scaff, all of West Portsmouth; two brothers, Michael Mosley and J.R. "Maribet" Mosley both of West Portsmouth; five sisters, Norma "Skippy" Hobbs of Springfield, OH, Joanne Mosley of West Portsmouth, Pluma (Cleve) Cool of Blue Mounds, Wis., Dody (Shorty) Rotenberry of West Portsmouth and Becky (Ken) Leininger of West Portsmouth; six grandchildren, Kassy Perdue, Kasey Perdue, Mary Howard, Amy Howard, Preston Howard, and Emily Scaff; two nephews in residence, Billy and Jeremy Mosley and many cousins, nieces, and nephews whom she loved very much. In addition to her parents, Georgene was preceded in death by a beloved Mother-in-law Sallie Perdue and brother-in-law "Boogie" Perdue and a sister Emily Sue Mosley.

Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Friday, February 9, 2007 at the Bible Chapel Church on Haig Ave. in West Portsmouth with Danny Blevins and Delbert Jordan officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 6 to 8 P.M. and on Friday from noon until 1 P.M. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth.
