Gertrude Coleman, 70
Gertrude Coleman, 70 of Stout, went to be with the Lord on Saturday January 17, 2009 at her residence. She was born January 14, 1939 in Portsmouth to the late Dennis Clark and Grace Shepherd Journey. She was a homemaker and a member of Pond Run Baptist Church.
Gertrude is survived by her husband Gregory Alan Coleman whom she married on July 9, 1973, 4 sons; Joey Tolliver of West Portsmouth, Michael Todd Thompson of Friendship, Randy Thompson of Columbus and James Robert Thompson, 3 daughters; Christie Lynn Parker of Stout, Becky Mayberry and Cathy Thompson both of West Portsmouth, a sister Janie Bowman of Portsmouth, along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday January 20, 2009 at McKendree Cemetery in Stout with James McCullough officiating. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com Arrangements under the direction of the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth.
