Goldie Frances Fife, 97
Goldie Frances Fife, 97 of West Portsmouth went to be with the Lord Tuesday November 25, 2008 at her home. She was born December 23, 1910 in Johnson County, Ky., to the late Esau and Minty Zoie Rice Ratliff. She was a homemaker. Along with her parents Goldie was preceded in death by her husband Ervin Cecil Fife, 4 children; Hillard Fife, Darlene Covert, Donna Collins and Bonnie Dyer, 3 brothers; Guy, Henry and Tommy Ratliff and a sister Gracie Rhea.
Goldie is survived by 1 son , Willard Fife of West Portsmouth, 4 daughters; Dollie Fife of West Portsmouth, Wanda Estep of Beaver, Thelma Brown of Georgia, Gail Barnett of Lucasville, 1 brother Gale Ratliff of West Portsmouth, 25 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday November 29, 2008 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Rick Evans officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8:00 PM on Friday and 1 hour prior to the service on Saturday. The family's favorite charity is SOMC Hospice.
