Goldie Mae Breech,  97

Goldie Mae Breech,  97 of Portsmouth, died Tuesday December 24, 2013 in Westland Michigan. She was born January 25, 1916 in Friendship to the late Allen and Ellen McGraw Odle. She was a former Selby Shoe Company employee and attended Rush Free Baptist Church. Along with her parents Goldie was preceded in death by her 2 husbands; Ernest Shively in 1990 and Hartzel Breech in 1998, a brother Albert Odle, 2 sisters; Anna Swords and Esther Pleasants, a granddaughter, Diana Marie Shaw, 4 stepsons; Hartzel, Charles, Paul and Harold Breech and a stepdaughter, Wanda Warren.

Goldie is survived by her son Harry Shaw of Westland, MI, a grandson Ernest Michael Shaw, step grandsons; Benjamin Stacey, Christopher Stacey and Michael Shopshare, 4 great grandchildren; Ruth, adena, Joelleen and Russell Shaw and 8 great great grandchildren, 3 stepsons; Albert, Ronald and Virgil Breech and 3 stepdaughters, Georgia Royster, Julia Cook and Doris Hitchan, several step grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday December 28, 2013 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Albert Breech officiating and interment in Worley's Run Cemetery. Friends may call the funeral home from 6 to 8:00 PM on Friday and 1 hour prior to the service on Saturday. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
