Gregory S. Denning, 62

Gregory S. Denning, 62 of West Portsmouth, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2025 in Portsmouth, Ohio with loved one Cathy by his side. He was born January 8, 1963 in Portsmouth, to the late Woodrow Blevins and Juanita Denning who survives.

Greg was known for his big heart, being a great friend and loving to work. He worked most of his life at the Sawmill. He enjoyed football tickets and Nascar Racing. He was saved on November 6, 2022 in London, Kentucky and was baptized on August 23, 2025.

Along with his father Woodrow, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jo Blevins, grandparents Sabel and Ruth Bloomfield and Oscar and Liva Blevins.

Greg is survived by his mother Juanita Picco, 2 sons; Eric (Sara) Flack and Paul (Kristy) Flack, a daughter Serina (Jason) Bruner, 2 brothers; Ronnie (Sherry) Denning and Jack (Kim) Blevins, 17 grandchildren, best friend Cathy (Dave) Beeson, 2 aunts, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of loved ones.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, September 20, 2025 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with interment in Stepp Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday starting at 11:00 AM. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
