Hardy McGraw, 65
Hardy Wayne Rufus McGraw, 65 of Portsmouth died Friday July 13, 2012 at SOMC Hospice. He was born November 9, 1946 in Blue Creek to the late Earl Henry and Dorothy Welch McGraw. Hardy was retired from Sissel Logging where he worked as a logger for many years, along with his parents he was preceded in death by a brother; Randy McGraw, a special brother in law; Gary Brown and a special friend; Tom Blevins.
Hardy is survived by his wife of 25years Peggy Brown McGraw who he married April, 24, 1987, a son; Michael Newsome of Vermillion, 2 daughters; Tina (Patrick) Scott of Portsmouth, and Melissa Newsome of Lorain, 4grandchildren; Tiffany Moore and Elizabeth Lyon who he raised, Diane Cataldo and Ryan Carter, 3 great grandchildren; Damien Lloyd, Jaden Cataldo, and Thomas Potts, 2 brothers; Billy McGraw of West Salem, and Keith McGraw of Columbus, 3 sisters; Floriene Whitehead of Litchfield, Wilma Cyrus of Lucasville and Barbara Stump of Otway, best buddies; Penny Brown and David Newsome, special friends; David and Nettie Potts.
Funeral services will be 2:00pm Tuesday July 17th 2012 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Carl Rose and Jason Koch officiating and interment in Vernon Cemetery.
