Harold Clifford Martin, 85
Harold Clifford Martin, 85 of West Portsmouth died at his residence Sunday, June 1, 2008. Harold was born May 19, 1923 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Eugene Harold and Alice Marie Sutton Martin. In addition to his parents Harold was also preceeded in death by his wives Ruby Jewell Martin and Agnes K. Robert Martin and a sister Dorothy Jean Meeker. He was a member and dedicated worker of Nauvoo United Methodist Church and the Shawnee State Golden Bear's, served in the Coast Guard and retired from the Lance Company where he was a salesman.

Harold is survived by three daughters, Mary Lou (Brian) Holdren of Ashville, Jane Rowland of Portsmouth, and Alice (Jerry) Berry of West Portsmouth; two stepdaughters, Terry (Jacques) Ebbo of Dallas, TX and Cathy (Robert) Ballinger of Columbus; a brother Kenneth (Christine) Martin of Columbus; 8 grandchildren and 16 great grand children, 2 Gt.Gt. Grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 4 great step grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2PM Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at Nauvoo United Methodist Church with Pastor Pete Shaffer officiating and interment in Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church from 5 to 8 PM on Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Arrangements by the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
