Harold Lester Mills, 72

Harold Lester Mills, 72 of West Portsmouth died Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born May 8, 1951, in Portsmouth to the late Lester Leroy Mills and Jessie May (Grimm) Davis.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by 2 stepsons, Jackson Holsinger Jr. and Steven Edward Holsinger, 2 sisters, Bessie Jordan, Wilma Jarrells and a brother, Michael Mills.

He was a truck driver for McGovney, Fergusons, and was a mechanic for Stevens Construction. He was also a member of the Teamsters Union.

Harold is survived by his wife of 23 years, Roberta (Stout) Mills; 2 stepdaughters, Daisy Holsinger and Angie Fithen; 2 sisters, Phyllis Mills and Jerry (Larry) Chapman; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; a special nephew, Mark Jarrells, and many other nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, October 27, 2023, at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with interment to follow at Worley's Run Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home starting at 11:00AM. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
