Harold Scott, 74

Harold Russell Scott, 74, of Portsmouth went to be with his heavenly Father on Sunday, June 3, 2007. Harold was born December 2, 1932 in Scioto County to the late Winfield and Ardella Brown Scott. He was owner-operator of R. Scott Furniture Moving and of the Baptist Faith.

He is survived by his special caregivers, daughter and son-in-law Violet and Ken Allred; his former wife Pauline Scott of Wheelersburg; four sons, Harold Pete Scott of West Portsmouth, John Ray Scott of Portsmouth, Edward Lee Scott of McDermott, and Roger Dale Scott of Sciotoville; four daughters, Elizabeth Thompson of Tampa, FL, Sadie Burroughs of Illinois, Wanda Artressia of St. Petersburg, FL, Violet Kim Allred of Portsmouth; five sons-in-law; three daughters-in-law; 21 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, step grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and acquaintenaces. He will be greatly missed and always loved by all who knew him. Harold was also preceded in death by a daughter Judy Mae Marshall, seven brothers and sisters, a great grandson Mathew Ryan Taylor, and a daughter-in-law.

Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Thursday, June 7, 2007 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Marlyn Davis officiating and interment in Sunset Garden Cemetery.
