Harold Eugene Taylor, 56
Harold Eugene Taylor, 56 of Portsmouth died Sunday, August 28, 2005 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. Harold was born September 10, 1948 in Portsmouth to the late Robert and Darlene Grooms Taylor.
Harold is survived by two sons Harold Taylor, Jr. and Michael Taylor; two daughters, Christine and Angie Taylor; five brothers Eddie Taylor of Chillicothe, Charles "Chuck" (Terry) Taylor of Lorain, James "Jimmy" (Tammy) Taylor of Lorain, David Taylor of Kentucky, and Harvey (Jane) Taylor of Portsmouth who were his caregivers; two sisters, Angie (Rick) Mullins of Minford and Patty Taylor of Lorain. He is also survived by Evelyn Lawson of Flemingsburg, KY,a lady he called Mother; a blood brother Clifford Jones of Flemingsburg, KY; several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Harold was preceded in death by a brother Robert Taylor, Jr; a sister Bonnie Taylor; a special aunt Carolyn Grooms Evans, two great nieces and a special friend Donita (Sissy) Henderson.
Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Thursday, September 1, 2005 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Pastor Peter Michael officiating and interment in Mt. Joy Cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday and one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
