Harrison Copas, 88

Harrison "Hite" Copas, 88 of Lancaster, died Tuesday September 29, 2015 at the Pickering House in Lancaster. He was born November 2, 1926 in Scioto County to the late Edward and Bessie Turner Copas. Hite was a taxidermist and was a United States Army WWII veteran. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters.

Hite is survived by is wife Marilyn Stouder Copas who he married on August 18, 1956, a daughter Barbara Ann (Jim) Waller of Amanda, OH, a brother Charlie Copas of Stout, 2 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday October 3, 2015 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth and interment in Copas Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 12 Noon. The family requests that donations be made to Cancer research. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
