Helen Cottrell, 64

Helen Marie Cottrell, 64 of Shepherd Fork Road, West Portsmouth, died Wednesday October 3, 2012 at her residence. She was born August 26, 1948 in Lewis County, Kentucky to the late Perry Dee and Helen Fite Ginn. She retired after 37 years as a medical records clerk at Southern Ohio Medical Center. Along with her parents Helen was preceded in death by 5 brothers; Willard, Perry D., George, Ronald and Elmer Lee Ginn, 2 sisters; Ivy Ruth Stitt and Mildred Geyer and a stepson William Buddy Cottrell.

Helen is survived by her husband William M. Cottrell, a daughter Beth Perry of West Portsmouth, 2 step daughters; Debbie Schneider of West Portsmouth and Kathy Hapney of Franklin Furnace, a stepson Tim Cottrell of Fl, 3 brothers; Raymond, James and Jeffrey Ginn, 3 sisters; Elizabeth Thomas, Sandra Fegley and Debra Scalise along with 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Sunday October 7, 2012 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Kenny Carver officiating and interment in McKendree Cemetery.
