Herbert Eugene Parker, 73

Herbert Eugene "Buck" Parker, 73 of Stout, died Thursday August 29, 2013 at his home. He was born January 24, 1940 in Scioto County to the late John and Peachie Cooper Parker. He was a retired union laborer of almost 40 years and a member of Laborers Local # 83. Buck was a member of the Coon Hunters Club and Sandy Springs Methodist Church. He was a loving husband, father and grandpa. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Dolly Cook and 3 very special life long friends; Don Sparks, Billy Holsinger and Jim Bayless.

Buck is survived by his wife of 33 years Brenda Blevins Parker who he married November 9, 1980,  a daughter Erica Cooper of Manchester, a son Wayne (Glenda) Parker of Stout, a sister  Virginia "Sissy" (Aubrey) Parker of Blue Creek, 4 grandchildren; Jace and Ashton Cooper and Keely and Chris Parker, special mother in law Clara Blevins, and a very special friend that is like a brother to him, Eddie Boland, along with many nieces nephews and friends. He will be missed by all who know him.

Funeral services will be 1:00 Pm Tuesday September 3, 2013 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with David Blevins officiating. Interment will be in McKendree Cemetery.
