Herbert Aaron Markwell, Jr., 50 of Portsmouth, died Tuesday April 4, 2023 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born September 25, 1972 in Portsmouth, to the late Herbert Aaron and Naomi Faye Manning Markwell.

He is survived by a sister, Peggy Royster, a brother, Aaron Markwell, 2 uncles: Paul Markwell and David Markwell, 3 aunts: Linda Taylor, Brenda Taylor and Rita Markwell, 2 nieces: Stacy Murphy and Tiffany Royster along with several cousins.
