Heskell Junior Puckett 72

Heskell "Heck" Junior Puckett 72 of West Portsmouth, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday April 5, 2015 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born September 20, 1942 in Portsmouth to the late Haskel and Gussie Mae Frances Puckett. He was a United States Marine Corp veteran and worked as a mechanic and a clerk at the BP gas stations in Portsmouth and Wheelersburg. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Sharon Sue Bevis Puckett who he married on January 1, 1961 and a son Harold Puckett.

Heskell is survived by, 3 sons; Mark (Julie) Puckett of West Portsmouth, Timothy (Tina) Puckett of Portsmouth and Terry (Vickie) Puckett of Sciotoville, 3 daughters; Shari (Ralph) Boggs of Minford, Jackie (Brian) Summers of Rosemount and Traci Swords of West Portsmouth, a brother Harold (Carol) Puckett of West Portsmouth, a sister Judy Puckett of Chillicothe, 17 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday April 9, 2015 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Craddock Frye officiating. Interment will be in McKendree Cemetery with graveside military rites by the James Dickey Post 23 American Legion.
