Howard "Sonny" Cooper, 74
Howard "Sonny" Cooper, 74 of McDermott, died Monday Aughst 16, 2010 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus. He was born July 3, 1936 in McDermott to the late Charles and Gertie Entler Cooper. He was a Security Guard for Taylor Lumber Company. Along with his parents Sonny was preceded in death by 6 brothers; Eddie, Delmar, Russell, Oather, Charles Jr., and David and a sister Dorothy.
Sonny is survived by his wife Rosalee Crabtree Cooper who he married on August 4, 1972, 3 sons; Stephen Seals of West Virginia, Kevin (Vicki) Seals of McDermott and Kenneth (Crystal) Cooper of Lucasville, 1 daughter; Stephanie (David) Burton of Lucasville, 9 grandchildren; Ayla Seals of Washington, Savanah Seals of McDermott, Jerod and Brooke Miller of Lucasville, Kendra and Jacob Cooper of Lucasville and Kaleb, McKenzie and Sarah Seals of McDermott, 1 brother Everett Cooper of Tenn., 2 sisters; Thelma Elmore of Tenn. And Jean Langdon of Fairborne.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday August 19, 2010 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Reverend Joey Nelson officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 on Wednesday and 1 hour prior to the service on Thursday. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
