Ida LaBelle Wray, 86
Ida LaBelle Wray, 86 of Portsmouth died Thursday January 9, 2014 peacefully at SOMC Hospice. She was born in a farm house in Warsaw, Indiana on January 13, 1927 to the late Graydon and Mildred Powell.
Ida was a member of Cornerstone United Methodist Church in Portsmouth, Ohio and was an avid bird watcher. She actively contributed to many charities and wishes no flowers. Donations to any of her favorite charities may be made in her memory. They include; the Domestic Violence Shelter, Portsmouth Homeless Shelter, Cornerstone Food Pantry, Scioto County Children's Services, CAO Clinic, National Guard and Veterans Helping Veterans.
Ida is survived by 2 brothers; Jack (Ginger) Powell and Fred (Nancy) Powell of Warsaw, Indiana., 2 daughters; Sue (Don) Sandmire of Andover, Kansas and Cindy (Randy) Eno of Witchita, Kansas, a son Dean (Cindy) Wray of West Portsmouth, Ohio, grandchildren; Alex Gard, Abigail (Brent) Seelmeyer, Jordan Eno, Kyle Eno, Greg Eno, Sarah (Adam) Betten and Jessica Partin, great grandchildren; Charlotte Seelmeyer, Chloe Betten, Lucas Betten, Maya Betten, Caleb Partin and Liam Partin.
A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday January 11, 2014 at Cornerstone United Methodist Church in Portsmouth, Ohio. Family will greet friends starting at 10:00 AM.
