Irene Carpenter, 70

Irene Carpenter, 70 of West Portsmouth died Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at SOMC Hospice.  She was born July 25, 1948 in Scioto County to the late Bunk Cooper and Julia Conley.  She worked at the College, Hospital, and managed Apartments.

Irene is survived by her husband, Larry Joe Carpenter, 2 children; Wayne Eugene Shepherd and Angela Irene Shepherd, 5 grandchildren; Brian McCormick, Eric McCormick, Mark McCormick, Ned Shepherd, and Jessica Shepherd, along with 9 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 6, 2019 from 1 to 3:00 PM at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth.  A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.  Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
