Irene Williams, 74
Irene Williams, 74 of Portsmouth died Friday, February 18, 2005 at her residence. Irene was born September 6, 1930 in Garrison, KY to the late Basil and Nellie Smith Lambert. She worked in Quality Control at Celanese Plastics and was a member of the American Legion.
Irene was preceded in death by her husband Robert Williams. She is survived by three sons, Jack Howard of Portsmouth, Robert Howard, Jr. of Columbus, Thomas Howard of Portsmouth; two daughters, Carolyn Ward of Acworth, GA, and Sandra Weber of Columbus, two sisters, Mary Logan of Mansfield and Janice Conley of Seattle, WA; eleven grandchildren, John Howard, Joshua Howard, Rebecca Yount, Beverly Howard, Belinda Bradley, Kimberly Howard, Donald Howard, Delora Edmondson, Carla Cole, Shawnna Ward, Amanda Weber and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Monday, February 21, 2005 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Wayne Aaron officiating and interment in Greenlawn Cemetery, Columbus. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 4 to 7 P.M. on Sunday and one hour prior to the service on Monday. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
