Jackson Carlson Holsinger, 74

Jackson Carlson Holsinger, 74 of Lucasville, died Tuesday April 4, 2023 at SOMC Hospice. He was born January 31, 1949 in Portsmouth to the late Edward and Daisy Edith Rodgers Holsinger.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a son Steven E. Holsinger, 3 brothers: James, Billy and Robert Holsinger and 2 sisters: Alice Bentley and Virgina Fitzgerald.

Jackson retired from the Scioto County Engineers Office in 2003.

He is survived by a son, Jackson C. Holsinger Jr., 2 daughters: Daisy Holsinger and Angela Fither, a brother, Ronnie Holsinger, a sister Margaret Stevens, 7 grandchildren; Hailey, Alexis, Cynthia, Kayla, Austin, Collin and Kayden, 5 great grandchildren: Jazmine, Conner, Raylynn, Heaven and Sage along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Wednesday April 12, 2023 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in west Portsmouth with Chuck Holsinger officiating. Interment will be in McKendree cemetery.
