James Arlando Hayslip, 30

James Arlando Hayslip 30, of Blue Creek Died December 20, 2010 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born October 27th 1980 in Portsmouth to the late Barbara Hayslip and was employed by the Bricklayers local 39 union. Along with his mother he was preceded in death by a step-brother Randy Taylor.

James is survived by his wife Pauline Tackett Hayslip of Blue Creek whom he married on June 3rd 2007 in Sandy Springs, stepfather Leroy Taylor of Stout, 3 step children Amanda (Andrew) Duncan of Erie PA, Trisha (David) Gustler of Warfield KY, and James Alley of Pikeville KY. step grandchildren Jacob, Issac and Abraham. A brother; Ronnie (Kari) Hayslip of Stout, and 3 sisters; Rhonda (Herbie) Bentley of Stout, Michelle Towbridge of Vanceburg, and Nikki Taylor of Stout, a grandmother; Anna Hayslip and a special aunt, Phyllis who raised him, a stepbrother Mitchell Taylor, 2 stepsisters; Annette McNutt and Marsha Taylor, along with several nieces and nephews. He will be greatly loved and missed by his wife, family and friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday, December 23 2010 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Greg Cooper officiating and interment in Sandy Springs cemetery.
