James Edward Hodge, 70
James Edward Hodge, 70 of West Portsmouth, died Wednesday February 1, 2017 at his home. He was born January 22, 1947 in West Portsmouth to the late Everett and Mable Galloway Hodge. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by a brother Dewey Hodge.
James was retired from the Portsmouth Metro Housing Association (PMHA).
He is survived by his wife Nita Lynn Cook Hodge whom he married June 14, 1975, 2 sons; James Edward Hodge Jr. (Tina Cooper) of Piketon, and Joshua Michael Hodge of West Portsmouth. A daughter Angel Lynnette (Tim) Scott of West Portsmouth, 2 brothers; Everett and Robert Hodge, and 3 grandchildren; James Edward Hodge III of West Portsmouth, Jacob Nathaniel Hodge, and Melodee Cooper both of Piketon.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00PM Thursday February 9, 2017 at Scioto Burial Park in McDermott, Ohio. Family and friends will gather starting at Noon. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
