James "Jake" Holsinger ,66

James "Jake" Holsinger, 66, of Stout died Friday, June 9, 2006 at Best Care Nursing Home. James was born October 23, 1939 in Scioto County to the late Edward and Daisy Rodgers Holsinger. James was a farmer and had served in the US Army during the Viet Nam Era.

James is survived by his wife Dorothy Stout Holsinger; four sons, Paul Kerr, Mike Copas, Jeff Copas, and Jamie Holsinger; two daughters, Sandy Evans and Carrie Copas; three brothers, Billy, Ronnie and Jack Holsinger; two sisters, Jenny Fitzgerald and Margie Stevens; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Alice and Blue Ribbon Bentley and two brothers, Robert and George Edward Holsinger.

Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at McKendree Chapel with J.R. Holsinger officiating and interment in McKendree Cemetery with Graveside Military Rites by James Baker Post 363. Friends may call at McKendree Chapel from 11 A.M. until 2 P.M. Arrangements by the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth.
