James Walter Maynard, Jr. 64
James Walter "Bud" Maynard, Jr., 64, of Portsmouth died Sunday, May 1, 2005 at Hempstead Manor. Bud was born June 29, 1940 in Logan, West Virginia to the late James Walter and Pearl Epling Maynard, Sr. He was a retires warehouseman, a loving father, grandfather and great grand father and was of the Pentecostal Faith.
James is survived by his wife Roberta Bentley Maynard; a son James (Lois) Maynard III of West Portsmouth; four daughters, Angie (Mark) Jenkins and Sonja Crisp of Sciotoville, Shawna (Rick) Wilfong of Portsmouth, and Stephanie Maynard of Portsmouth; a brother Donald Eugene Maynard of Portsmouth and a sister Minnie Chapman of Columbus; ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren; one adopted son, and several special friends.
Funeral Services will be held 1 P.M. Wednesday, May 4, 2005 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Rick Ratliff officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 6 to 8 P.M. on Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
