James Slone, 66
James Slone, 66 of West Portsmouth died Friday, March 23, 2007 leaving behind his wife of 41 years Barbara Branhan Slone of West Portsmouth and one daughter Tabbie R. Meredith of Edwardsburg, MI; two grandchildren Nicholas and Shelby Meredith also of Edwardsburg, MI. Also surviving are his Mother, Vina Cleveland of Warsaw, IN; three sisters, Avalee Engle, Jane Hiney, and Brosie Elliott; and two brothers, Gene Slone and Larry Slone all of Warsaw, IN.
James was a Vietnam Army War Veteran. Graveside Military Rites will be held at the Slone Family Cemetery in David, Kentucky at 1 P.M Tuesday, March 27, 2007. Friends may call at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth from 6 to 8 P.M. on
