James Robert Stone, 59

James Robert Stone, 59 of Stout, died Thursday August 18, 2011 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born September 12, 1951 in Washington Court House to Edward Franklin (Charlene) Stone and the late Geneva Ellen Ross Stone. He was a former Logger and Truck Driver who loved to coon hunt and fish. Along with his mother, James was preceded in death by a granddaughter Savanha Mae Stone.

James is survived by his wife Alice Mae Stone who he married November 4, 1977, 6 sons; James Stone Jr., Clint (Tammy) Stone, Finley (Amber) Stone, Jessie (Elly) Estle, Ernie Estle, and James (Tammy) Estle, 2 daughters; Joni Stone and Tasha Estle, 2 brothers; Leroy Stone and Eddie Stone Jr., 4 sisters; Sue Heflin, Joann Roberts, Mary Rister and Donna Stone, 16 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

There will be graveside services 1:00 PM Tuesday August 23, 2011 at McKendree Cemetery in Stout with Gary Hardin officiating. Family and friends will gather at the cemetery starting at 11:00 AM Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth.
