James Lewis Wiltshire, 82
James Lewis Wiltshire, 82 of Portsmouth, died Thursday June 12, 2008 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born August 30, 1925 in West Portsmouth to the late Charles and Irene Sword. He was a WWII Army Veteran where he received the Bronze Star, he was a truck driver for McGovney's, was a member of International Union of Operatoring Engineers and was a member of Cook Road Baptist Church. Along with his parents James was preceded in death by his wife Mary Louise Miller Wiltshire, 3 brothers; Homer, Cleo and Arley Wiltshire and 2 sisters Estelle Noel and Ann McCain.
James is survived by a son Gerald Belford of Mansfield, Oh, 2 daughters Diana (Michael) Malone of Wheelersburg and Karen (Bill) Windle of West Portsmouth, 7 grandchildren; Stephanie and Eric McLaughlin, Melissa and Jason Kent, Rodney and Becky Windle, Amanda Belford and Mike Magglot, Travis and Rachial Windle, Brad and Amanda Windle, Sara Belford and Rick Smith, and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday June 17, 2008 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Larry Parks officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Burial Park with graveside military rites by James Dickey Post 23 American Legion.
