Janice Marie Loop, 80

Janice Marie Noel Loop, 80 of West Portsmouth , died Wednesday November 5, 2014 at SOMC Hospice. She was born September 7, 1934 in Portsmouth to the late James Noel and Ethel Spriggs Gifford. She was a homemaker and a veteran of the Womens Army Corp. Along with her parents Janice was preceded in death by her husbands; George Gravely and Charles Loop, 2 brothers; Arnold and Wilburn Noel and 3 sisters; Margaret Hodge, Ruth Arledge and Susan Smith.

Janice is survived by 2 sons; George Gravely and Charles Gravely, 5 daughters; Carolyn Ingles, Mildred Leadingham, Janice Gravely, Alyce Popp and Chrystal Middleton, a sister Viola Thompson, 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday November 8, 2014 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Danny Thompson officiating and interment in Larkin Cemetery .
