Jason Lee Evans 32, of Portsmouth, died Monday, December 07, 2009 at his residence. Jason was born July 3, 1977 in Portsmouth to Ronnie (Tammy) Evans and Ann (John) Spriggs who survive. He was a 1994 graduate of Northwest High School and belonged to the Pipefitter's local 577.
Jason is survived by five brothers; John (Beth) Spriggs and Jason (Amy) Spriggs both of Chillicothe, Joe Spriggs of McDermott, Adam Evans and Zach Evans of Portsmouth, one sister; Janie (Jonathan) Donaldson of Cary, NC, 5 nephews; 2 uncles Junior and Bobby Evans and Step-Mother Diane Applegate.
Funeral services will be 1PM Monday, December 21, 2009 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Pastor Rick Phillips officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral from 11 until the funeral hour on Monday. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made to New Beginnings at 2266 Wakefield Mound Road, Piketon, Ohio 45661.
