Jean Howard, 93

Jean Howard, 93 of Portsmouth died Saturday December 13, 2014 at SOMC Hospice. She was born April 2, 1921 in Portsmouth. She was a former telephone operator for General Telephone. She was preceded in death by her mother Gertrude Hendron Kirkendall Crisp, her husband Belva Howard, a daughter Regina Howard and 3 brothers; Abbie, Ed and Howard Kirkendall.

Jean is survived by 3 daughters; Patty (Bill) Bratt of Portsmouth, Judy (Jim) Brown) of Cheyenne, Wyoming and Kathy (Garry) Sexton of Portsmouth, a beloved sister Ruth Crisp of Portsmouth, 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
