Jeffrey D. Mitchell, 56
Jeffrey D. "Bubba" Mitchell, 56 of West Portsmouth died Tuesday September 13, 2011 at Cabell Huntington Hospital in West Virginia. He was born June 28, 1955 in Portsmouth to the late Charles Eynon "Popeye" Mitchell and Maxine Charles Mitchell of West Portsmouth. He was a former laborer and an Air Force veteran. Along with his father Jeff was preceded in death by his wife Donna L. Truman Mitchell and a brother Charles Allen Mitchell.
Along with his mother Jeff is survived by his son Jeffrey D. Mitchell Jr of West Portsmouth and a sister Cynthia Skaggs of Columbus, 3 nephews Robert Lemon, Christopher Mitchell and Joshua Mitchell.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday September 20, 2011 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth. Interment will be in Scioto Burial Park with graveside military rites by James Dickey Post 23 American Legion. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8:00 PM on Monday and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
