Jerry L. Hall Jr, 60

Jerry L. Hall Jr, 60 of West Portsmouth, died Friday May 5, 2023 at his home. He was born September 29, 1962 in Portsmouth to the late Jerry L. and Adeline "Sis" Hall Sr.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lloyd and Samantha Hall and a niece Amanda Timberlake.

Jerry was an Iron Worker. He loved life and was a fun loving guy. He was fun to be around, his laughter was contagious. He would help anyone with anything. He also loved kids and played Santa Clause for many years.

Jerry was happily engaged for 24 years to Angie Shepherd who survives, he is also survived by 3 stepsons: Brian, Eric and Mark McCormick, 2 brothers: James E. Hall and Jason M. Hall, 2 sisters Jodi Hall Eldridge and Samantha Hall Robinson, he was blessed to be called Papaw by 10 grandchildren, also surviving are several nieces, nephews and many friends.

A celebration of Jerrys life will be held at 1:00PM on Sunday, May 21st, 20023 at Big Bear Lake.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
