Jerry Herbst, 62, of Stout died Thursday June 5, 2014 at his home. He was born August 7, 1951 in Dayton , Ohio to the late Albert Henry and Laura Kinkaide Herbst. He was a former General Motors employee. He was an artist, he loved painting, drawing and building.

Jerry is survived by his wife Jenny Melinda Brown Herbst who he married on December 23, 1980, 2 daughters; April Melinda Herbst and Crystal Lynn Herbst, a stepson Thomas L. Wise Jr and a stepdaughter Tonya Lynn Wise, 2 brothers Richard and Robert Herbst and 2 sisters Yvonne and Sharon, 7 grandchildren Machala, Faith, Madison, Ozias, Autumn and Zayden and a brother in law Paul Wayne Brown Jr.
