Jessie L. Crabtree Myer, 78
Jessie L. Crabtree Myer, 78 of West Portsmouth died Friday October 19, 2012 at SOMC Hospice. She was born May 8, 1934 in Miamisburg, Ohio to the late Warfield and Samira Lainhart Powell. She was a nurse's assistant and was a member of the Community of Christ Church. Along with her parents Jessie was preceded in death by her son John William Crabtree, and 13 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her husband Donald Myer, her son Leonard (Tonda) Crabtree of Chillicothe, a daughter Dana Smith of Lucasville, one brother Calvin Powell of Tennessee, 2 stepchildren David and Florence, 5 Grandchildren Danny (Nadia) Smith, Jason (Keri) Smith, Misti Smith, Leonard Crabtree II, and Lewis (Kara) Crabtree. 2 step-grandchildren Michael, and Katie, and 17 Great Grandchildren Koribrook, Seth, Kaleb, Lewis, Gage, Ethan, Kaylee, Logan, Nolan, Alyssa, Gavin, Audra, Sadie, Natalie, Adelyn, Kourtney, and a great granddaughter on the way.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday October 23, 2012 at Scioto Burial Park with Bob Davis officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
